Ooft, far far away from it. It's hard to explain, but if anyone had told me the impact Bashir's life & death would have on me I would not have believed it. We were two very different ppl from two different generations, but he took me under his wing, without me even realising.

When I started working in Parliament, a Security Guard heard me call him Uncle & said to Bashir

'Aw Bashir, is that your nephew?'

I was about to clarify, but before I could say anything he took my hand & with that wonderful smile he had, he said to her "No, he is my son" ❤
